American Cancer Society celebrates its centennial

The American Cancer Society is observing its 100th anniversary in 2013. Throughout their shared 100-year history, the American College of Surgeons and the American Cancer Society have collaborated on many programs, including the establishment of what are now known as the Commission on Cancer and the American Joint Committee on Cancer. The American Cancer Society will officially recognize its centennial on May 22.
