Dr. McSwain is professor of surgery, Tulane University, New Orleans, LA; clinical professor of surgery, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge; clinical professor of surgery, Uniform Services University of Health Sciences, Bethesda; and trauma director, Spirit of Charity Trauma Center, New Orleans. He is also medical director of pre-hospital trauma life support and police surgeon, New Orleans Police Department.
