The article “Surgeon asked colleagues why they chose the profession: Giants of the era responded” in the September 2021 issue of the Bulletin incorrectly stated that Lieutenant Edward Revere Osler was the father of Sir William Osler. Lieutenant Osler was Dr. Osler’s son. The Bulletin regrets the error.
