McCall, MD; and co-authors report their findings in the April issue of the Journal of the American College of Surgeons (JACS) that using the Whipple accelerated recovery pathway reduced hospital length of stay, time to adjuvant therapy, and cost in selected pancreaticoduodenectomy patients without increasing readmission risk.
