Dr. Chu
Quyen D. Chu, MD, FACS, associate professor and chief of the division of surgical oncology, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport, has been selected as the 2013 American College of Surgeons (ACS) Japan Traveling Fellow. As the Japan Traveling Fellow, Dr. Chu will participate in the annual meeting of the Japan Surgical Society in Fukuoka, April 11–13, 2013. He will attend the ACS Japan Chapter meeting during his stay, and will travel to several surgical centers in Japan to interact with his peers and observe surgical procedures.
Requirements for the 2014 Traveling Fellowship will be published in a future edition of the Bulletin as well as on the College’s website.
