Florida Chapter (FCACS): Chapter Council members at the FCACS Annual Meeting, March 22–23, Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios, Orlando. More than 130 participants learned about navigating challenges in surgery, including community cancer care, technology, and strategic advocacy. The program featured record-setting abstract and case competition submissions, as well as Surgical Jeopardy and Surgical Olympics.

Brazil Chapter: ACS Region 14 Meeting, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: ACS Governors from chapters in Latin America and the Caribbean attended the Annual Meeting of Region 14 on September 11. This meeting was held in conjunction with the Regional Congress of Rio de Janeiro of the Central Nucleus of the Brazilian College of Surgeons. The ACS General Surgery Review Course was offered during this event, which was the first of its kind in Brazil.
